HERE'S THE CHALLENGE

Put God first in your finances for the next 3 months by giving 10% of your finances to God's kingdom through the local church. By committing to tithing over the next 3 months through the 3-Month Tithe Challenge, you will not only be obeying God, but God will bless you in return. And, we'll help you through this 3-Month Tithe Challenge and encourage you along the way. If at the end of 3 months God hasn’t blessed you, we will return your 3 months of tithes to you.

WHY 10%

The Bible asks us to give our first and our best back to God and He will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10, Leviticus 27:30). This "first" is the tithe, or “tenth” of our income. We return to the Lord 10% of what He's given us, because it belongs to Him. The word "tithe" is derived from the Hebrew word ma’aser and it literally means a tenth.

WHY DO WE TITHE?

Essentially, tithing is a contract with God based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10-11. The Bible says, the purpose of tithing is to teach us always to put God first in your lives (Deuteronomy 14:23). Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have. It is also God’s personal invitation to an outpouring of his blessing in our lives. Malachi 3:10 is the only place in scripture where God tells us to put him to the test. In other words, He’s saying, “Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me!”
